Big changes on the horizon

If you hadn't noticed I changed my name from "Chick with Clay" to "Just Clay Designs". I'm seriously thisclose to opening my www.storenvy.com shop and I wanted a name a little more professional. The URL to this blog is the same of course but my name has changed. I'm starting up a Facebook page soon so be on the lookout for that!

Have you met Mr. and Mrs. Rock?

They're a lovely couple. I mean how can you not love a rock in a top hat?

Star drops in a bottle

Cutest macaroons

Love these!

Fail

I keep seeing these chibi dolls on YouTube and Instagram. They're cute and looked relatively simple. It's all lies. I tried, I failed and I don't think I'm going to try it again.

Puppy love and a watermark

I've started watermarking my pictures. I post these pictures to Instagram and I don't want anybody stealing my pictures and using them as their own. Oh and I made the cutest puppy ever.

Matching sets

I thought it would be fun to make some matching sets and I really liked how the cherry bobby pins came out so I made earrings to match.

More bobby pins

Food was my focus last night. I made cherry, ice cream and popsicle topped bobby pins.

Beads!

I made these beads from cane slices. At this point I have no clue what I'm going to do with them. The yellow ones are my favorite.

Fred the jellyfish

He looks like a Fred to me. I made him with glow in the dark clay.

faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust

Blue and purple pixie dust to be exact.

Bobby pin collection

I bought these bobby pins on the Easter clearance rack and I figured I could use them for something. I added the shapes and I think they turned out really well.

Cane Slices

Cane slices can be used for a ton of things. Thin slices are used for nail art. Drill a hole thru the thicker ones and they make great beads. Any thickness can super glued onto stud earrings. Also I'm pretty sure they might be useful in scrapbooking.

Such a stud

I made these cute little studs last night too. I may keep them for myself.

Last night I tried

My hand at making pins. I love the way the star one came out but I'm not fond of the triangle one at all.
